After this we can arrange a visit if you’re in the area so we can get to know each other, and share a few more emails to make sure we’re both on the same page when it comes to rat ownership.
The majority of rats I rehome go as pets, but if you’re interested in breeding or showing, let me know as I am always willing to help where I can. I do expect all of my rat owners to remain in touch with me for the lifespan of their rats, and I will always take back any of my rats you can no longer keep for any reason, at any point in their life.
I only breed a few varieties – mainly marten, silver agouti, and silver fawn. I don’t breed for rexes, dumbos, or any other colours, and I’d recommend you contact your local rat club for breeder details if you’re after another variety.
I am located just outside Glasgow, in a convenient location for both public transport and driving. I do not deliver rats, you will need to pick them up from my home. I only home rats in same-sex pairs or trios, never single rats even if you already have other rats at home. Kittens are £30 a pair or £40 a trio, the cost of which goes towards the cost of raising the babies – I do not make a profit from this.
